Dr. Kitti Suwanratchatamanee received the B.Eng. degree in electronics and telecommunications engineering from King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, Bangkok, Thailand, in 2002, and the M.Eng. degree in electronics engineering from Royal Melbourne Institue of Technology University (RMIT University), Melbourne, Australia, in 2004, and the Dr.Eng. degree in pure and applied physics (Information Engineering, Robotics) from the Graduate School of Science and Engineering, Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan, in 2010. From 2007 to 2008 he received the Scholarships from Seiko Epson Corporation (Epson International Scholarship Foundation). From 2008 to 2010 he held the research position as a Research Fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) [DC2: 20-56621]. From 2011 to 2014 he was a Senior Engineer (Supervisor) in the Department of System Engineering, OTC DAIHEN Asia Co., Ltd. (DAIHEN Corporation).
Currently he is a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Founder of GOLDEN ROBOT Co., Ltd. GOLDEN ROBOT is Robotics Solution Provider Company (RSP), and also Authorized Distributor of OTC-DAIHEN and ABB products, such as Welding machines and Industrial Robots. He also holds the academic position as an Invited Researcher in the Graduate School of Advanced Science and Engineering, Waseda University. His research interests are in robotics and automation, including sensors, tactile and haptic sensing systems, robot bus and protocol, industrial robots, humanoid robots, and intelligent welding and handling systems for robots.
Dr. Suwanratchatamanee is a Member of the Robotics Society of Japan (RSJ) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE). He received the IECON’07 Student Scholarship Award, the HCIMA’08 Third-Prize Award, and the HSI’09 Best Paper Award in the area of intelligent systems from the IEEE in 2007, 2008, and 2009, respectively. In 2010 he also received the ICCAS’10 Outstanding Paper Award from the Institute of Control, Robotics and Systems (ICROS) and the URAI’10 Best Paper Award from the Korea Robotics Society (KROS).
